Visit to Oceanside Pier

Oceanside has beautiful beaches. And a big pier. We saw lots of fishermen but no caught fish. Beautiful warm day. 

She doesn't know the meaning of just one snack. Little beggar!   :-)

We are so happy to be with my brother Larry and his wife Jackie. They are both looking excellent and were very gracious.  We all went out for Mexican food for dinner. We could only drink one beer for each of us. That is all we could handle. 

David Gray came over with his new not quite a Harley - I think it was a Hoover -  or a Kirby. (Joke). I tried it out a bit.  Pretty cool bike actually. I liked it. 

David and family came for am evening og BBQ.  THANKS LARRY. 

San Juan Capistrano

Ellen and I had a great visit to the famous old Spanish mission at San Juan Capistrano.   Lots of history. It was started in 1776. We recognized a lot of familiar place names derived from the original Spanish ranches. 

The mission is very old and very beautiful. 

In Laguna Woods with Yolanda

We have spent the past few days shopping and running errands with Yolanda. A good  time. Quality time for all of us. Ellen can talk with her mom as much as she wants. That is good. 

Ellen and I went to mass this morning at St Nicolas just around the corner. Beautiful church with a Spanish tile roof. They had huge fragrant trees with violet blueish blossoms. See the photos. 

Safely arrived at Yolanda's condo

We had an easy day of travel to arrive at Laguna Woods. Ellen and Yolanda had no trouble thinking about things to talk about. 

We were impressed with Yolanda's mini-garden. Especially her tomatoes.  She has lots of green ones.
